Scholarship description
The Nagashima Pavarini "Building Bonds" Scholarship is designed to support individuals and families committed to building brighter futures through education, professional development, and community service. This scholarship encourages innovative solutions to pressing issues in probate law, estate planning, and elder care, particularly the growing elder guardianship crisis. Recipients will each be awarded $500 to support education, training, or projects aimed at addressing these challenges.
Applicants must meet one of the following eligibility categories: professional applicants should be current members of recognized legal or elder care organizations or have at least three years of relevant professional experience; entrepreneurs must be actively pursuing projects in elder care, guardianships, or estate planning and use the funds for education or training; and student applicants must be high school seniors or college students pursuing degrees in related fields. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required, and proof of legal status will be needed upon selection.
